Unrivalled Performance From The Kitagawa GT250 Rotary Table

Whilst our competitors are still struggling to reach the industry standard level of quality that was set by Kitagawa’s now legendary MR Series, our engineers have been busy working on the next generation of rotary tables. The Kitagawa GT series rotary table has now arrived and offers even greater performance than its predecessors. Here we take a look at the mid-series GT250 rotary table and the excellent performance that it provides.
Improved clamping torque
With a faceplate diameter of 250mm and a register diameter on the faceplate of 100mm, the GT250 rotary table provides suitability for a wide range of applications. The new model has a spindle through hole diameter of 70mm in keeping with the MR and T series before it. However, where the GT250 really comes into its own is in the clamping torque stakes. Thanks to increased piston area and newly developed pneumatic clamping mechanism the GT250 is capable of clamping torque of 1600Nm. This represents a huge rise in comparison to rotary tables in the Kitagawa MR and T series rotary tables and a frightening benchmark for our competitors to reach.
Maintaining performance
Whilst it is possible to purchase a comparable rotary table from another company that can match the clamping torque of the GT250, it simply will not compete in terms of overall performance. The GT250 maintains high levels of accuracy during heavy machining whilst operating at a max spindle speed of 33.3 rpm. This is thanks to alterations we have made to make the body design even more rigid than previous models and an improved brake piston design which serves to reduce distortion. We have also increased the clamping speed to bring down the takt time; leaving you with a superb all round rotary table that provides precision, without sacrificing speed.
