An expanded range of the new DH Series Collet Chucks will be on display, now including the new fixed length DHF version. This will be available soon as a DHF65-A6 and joins the DHP pull back versions currently available. The fixed collet position ensures that there is no part movement and it has a removable fixed stop in the chuck bore giving high accuracy and making it ideal for second operation clamping.
The DH Series is available with quick release gun and specialised collets and is the newest addition to the wide range of quick-release and standard collet chucks already available from Kitagawa. For further details view the current DH Series online
The new QJR series(Quick Jaw Release / Replacement) is a quick change power chuck and will also be on display at EMO. Using a quick change base jaw system it can accept standard metric serrated top jaws from existing B200 and BB200 Kitagawa Power Chucks. These base jaws can be changed quickly and easily using the hand operated key.
The new QJR chucks are directly interchangeable with the popular BB200 series as they feature the same through bore, plunger stroke and drawtube connection positions. This allows a new QJR08 to effectively replace a BB208 chuck without the need for any special adaption parts. The QJR series also offers an increase in gripping force when compared to the BB200 series. For further details view the QJR Series online
The NV Series will also be introduced at EMO. With chuck sizes ranging from 15” (381mm) all the way through to a massive 40” (1000mm) this is the biggest chuck Kitagawa have ever produced. Specifically designed for vertical lathes, the chucks also feature additional sealing around the base jaw to limit the ingress of swarf. The wide range of chuck sizes (which goes all the way to 40” -some 16 inches larger than our older large sized chucks) mean that they are able to suit a wide variety of machines and applications. The chuck body also has a low height, maximizing lathe turning capacity and increasing the efficiency of the chuck. For further details view the NV Series online
Kitagawa's newly expanded DL200 series Special Purpose Power Chucks will also be on display at EMO. Key Features include; Innovative Two Step Gripping (Parallel jaw clamping with secondary pull back action for work seating) and a sealed Body - designed for reduced maintenance, suitable for automation and volume production. Serrated Jaws are used allowing for easy jaw forming by the user and the jaws do not protrude into the Z axis unlike conventional pull back chucks - allowing for improved gripping on difficult areas. Two new types of NC Rotary Table will also be exhibited at EMO. The MX(M)160 NC Rotary Table - is designed for fast speed and heavy cutting and with an improved M-code function as it is now able to take up to four M-code instructions at the same time.
Kitagawa's new GT Series Rotary Table range is a through hole unit capable of withstanding high cutting loads. It features a 200mm diameter table and provides spindle rotations of up to 41.6 rev/min, for high speed indexing and has a rigid body design to reduce deformation under heavy load. The pneumatically clamped GT200 incorporates pressure monitor switches and Kitagawa's multi-plate disc brake technology to consistently achieve clamping torques of up to 820Nm. Furthermore, the GT200's double lead worm gear drive ensures simple backlash adjustment, enabling it to maintain an absolute positional accuracy of 20 seconds an arc, with a repeatability of 4 seconds or arc. The DM100 is Kitagawa’s first fully water and rustproof Rotary Table will also be on display. Illustrating just how innovative the Kitagawa brand is and designed specifically to meet the requirements of EDM machine applications - the compact and low-cost DM100 is equipped with a 100 mm diameter stainless steel table, ready drilled and tapped to accept a chuck or component fixture. The unit measures just 120 x 305 x 150 mm and is suitable for high precision machining of components weighing up to 20 kg. In addition, it features a 40 mm diameter through hole to accommodate extended length workpieces. For further details view the DM100 online
