9th March 2010

      Kitagawa Europe will be on display at the Industrie Paris exhibition which will take place from the 22rd - 26th of March 2010. We will have a wide range of products on display including the debut of some innovative new products, many of which you can read about throughout the site.

     The new Kitagawa products for 2010 include the expanded range of the new DH Series Collet Chucks will be on display, now including the new fixed length DHF version. The fixed collet position ensures that there is no part movement and it has a removable fixed stop in the chuck bore giving high accuracy and making it ideal for second operation clamping.

  The DH Series is available with quick release gun and specialised collets and is the newest addition to the wide range of quick-release and standard collet chucks already available from Kitagawa with wide range of adaptors.

     The new Quick Jaw Release series (Quick Jaw Release / Replacement) is a quick change power chuck and will also be on display in Paris. The QJR which uses a quick change base jaw system that can accept standard metric serrated top jaws from existing B200 and BB200 chucks. Indeed the new QJR chucks are directly interchangeable with the popular BB200 series as they feature the same through bore, plunger stroke and drawtube connection positions. This allows the new QJR08 to effectively replace a BB208 chuck without the need for any special adaption parts. A new QJR series chuck will also offers an increase in gripping force when compared to the BB200 series.

     Other new chucks include a new improved version of the DL Series, the NV series. The new NV series of closed centre chucks have been specifically designed for vertical lathes. The chucks feature additional sealing around the base jaw to limit the ingress of swarf. The wide range of chuck sizes which goes all the way to 40" (some 16 inches larger than our older large sized chucks) meaning that they are able to suit a variety of machines and applications. Meanwhile, the chuck body has a low height, maximizing lathe turning capacity and increasing the efficiency of themchuck.

NV series chucks use popular metric top jaws - the NV15 and 18 use SB15N1 and NV21-40 uses SB18A2 illustrating the compatibility of the chuck. Ask staff about details on Kitagawa stand in Paris!

Kitagawa Europe coming with wide range of Rotary Table.

     They launch NEW GT200 rotary table is also a through hole unit capable of withstanding high cutting loads. It features a 200mm diameter table and provides spindle rotations of up to 41.6 rev/min, for high speed indexing. Includes rigid body design to reduce deformation under heavy load. The pneumatically clamped GT200 incorporates pressure monitor switches and Kitagawa's multi-plate disc brake technology to consistently achieve clamping torques of up to 820Nm. GT.jpgFurthermore, the GT200's double lead worm gear drive ensures simple backlash adjustment, enabling it to maintain an absolute positional accuracy of 20 seconds an arc, with repeatability of 4 seconds or arc.

Kitagawa's extensive range of 4 and 5 axis NC Rotary Tables is complemented by a series of special purpose multi table units - including twin spindle, tilting axis models that allow simultaneous machining of two workpieces in a single set up. In addition, the company will develop, manufacture and support workholding solutions tailored to customers' individual application requirements.

     Kitagawa's newly expanded BBT200 Large Trough Hole Power Chucks will also be on display at Industre Paris. Key Features include;

Chucks are manufactured from high grade alloy steel. Two jaw wedge style power chucks deliver up to 20% more speed, gripping force and bore size when compared to conventional chucks.

     Kitagawa staff will also be on hand to aid with any questions or queries you may have. So make sure you pay a visit to the Kitagawa stand this March to see all of these Kitagawa  products in action, and to discuss how any of our Kitagawa products can work for you and your company.
